YOU WILL NEED
- 400g Green Prawns Deveined and tails removed
SEASONED FLOUR
- 200g Plain Flour or a GF Option like Chickpea
- 100g Taco Fiesta Seasoning
- 1 Egg, lightly beaten
TACO’S
- 12 6″ Corn Taco Shells
- 250g Red Cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 Red Onion, finely sliced
- 100g Coriander, roughly chopped
- 4 limes, cheeks removed
- Hot sauce (your preference but we used sriracha)
- Aioli
- Oil for frying
TO MAKE
- Mix the prawns with the beaten egg.
- Combine the coating ingredients and will well.
- Dredge the Prawns in the Seasoning Mix in batches.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a high sided pan to a medium high heat.
- Shallow fry the prawns in batches until crisp and golden approx. 5 minutes
- Make tacos with the tortillas and prawns and top each with aioli, shredded cabbage, hot sauce salsa and coriander!
