Butter Chicken is our version in powdered form of the very popular Indian dish and this blend is packed with complex flavours and it has a rich, tomatoey flavour under pinned with delicate and flavourful hints of spice.

Legend has it that Butter Chicken, also known as ‘murgh makhani’ in Hindi, was invented in the 1950s at the iconic Moti Mahal Deluxe restaurant in Delhi. 

It resulted from a cooking experiment when the leftover marinated chicken was combined with a rich tomato-based gravy, resulting in a heavenly creation. The genius behind this dish was Kundan Lal Gujral, a visionary chef who innovated the culinary landscape.

Butter Chicken is a unique combination of spices and a velvety, buttery gravy served with succulent pieces of marinated meat. Using our Butter Chicken Seasoning to marinate  infuses the chicken with a punch of flavours, ensuring each bite is delicious and satisfying.
